"Is there nobody there"

No reply from telephone at St Helens sorting offce, Liverpool Road.

Rang on four occasions let phone ring for over 3 minutes each time and then it went dead.

This is the Royal Mail, a public service. What is that all about.

Going down to see them (4 miles) and will be asking.
