"R mail never answers phone calls."

I havs recently posted birhtday cards to my young family members. They have not been delivered. Rang St.Helens sorting office for hours and get no reply or an engaged tone. Why will they not respond? Seems like they set their phone lines on silence. so i wander what they are doing! If shortstaffed there are plenty people looking for work. Discusted. I will complain to head office. royal mail is not reliable..
