"My Parcel found in the street"

I was waiting for a parcel on 48 delivery which should have arrived on Tuesday,on Wednesday there was a knock on the door,it was a gentleman who handed my my parcel which he had found in the street on the estate opposite my estate,the next day I explained to the post lady what had happened,she did apologise & said it must of fell out of her post bag,5 minutes later she came back to ask for the packaging which she scanned then left,I I understand that this sort of thing happens but it could have been something every expensive !.
